Flush Bottom Tank Valve
(Inside Vessel Opening & Inside Valve Opening)
|
Flush Bottom Tank Valves, widely used for discharging
materials from processing tanks, are designed so as to
completely seal off the outlet nozzle at the inner vessel
wall. This prevents solids from accumulating and solidifying
in the outlet nozzle neck and stopping discharge of the vessel
contents. It also prevents the collection of un reacted
material in the nozzle.
Flush Bottom Tank Valves have a modified 'Y' type body - with
the stem being located in the vertical branch of the valve.
Seat and disc design is similar to that of a globe valve with
metal to metal seating. The disc can lift up from the seat and
open into the vessel, or the disc can pull down from the seat
and open into the valve. |
 |
Flush
Bottom Tank Valves are sized by the valve outlet size which is
generally smaller than the inlet connection which mates with the
vessel nozzle.
Fine
Tech Flush Bottom Tank Valves are fitted with stuffing boxes and
packing to prevent stem leakage. The usual packing material is
PTFE, other packing materials are also available. In case of the
requirement being very specific, a suitable flush bottom tank
valve to handle that specific need can be designed and
manufactured.

Multiport
Valve
|
Multiport Valves are generally used to simplify piping. In
addition, they also eliminate pipe fittings and provide a much
more convenient operation than multiple valve.
Multiport Valves are particularly advantageous on transfer
lines and for diverting services. A single multiport valve can
be installed in lieu of three or four individual valves. The
only thing to remember in such an installation is that many of
the multiport configurations do not permit complete shut-off
flow: one flow path usually remains open. |
 |
Fine
Tech Engineers design and manufacture Multiport Valves that can
replace multiport ball, gate, globe or pinch valves. These valves
are manufactured keeping in mind the relevant standards and the
specific needs of the customer. Flow to more than one port is also
possible, as is complete shut-off. In case of the requirement
being very specific, a suitable multiport valve to handle that
specific need can be designed and manufactured.
