Platinum Resistance Detectors (RTDs) and Thermocouples are the common industrial temperature sensors and useful for ranges of -200°C through 1600°C.

Sheth Length/ODs; Mounting

• Length from 25 mm; and OD 1.5/3.0 mm (MI T/Cs) to 4.5/6 mm upwards (RTDs & T/Cs).

• Process connections 1/2" BSP etc. compression fitting or flanged.

Construction Types

• MGO powder filled and compacted (RTDs) and Beaded/Mineral Insulated type construction for thermocouples.

Protection Thermowells
Varieties of pockets (thermowells) for insulation of sensors from process are available (threaded or flanged type).

Temperature Transmitters

Temperature transmitters are used to convert low level sensor signals from RTDs and thermocouples to high level 4-20 mA or 1-5V etc. DC signals which can be transmitted to distant instruments.
